1. 占據(jù):進而被用來喻指發(fā)自內(nèi)心地追求某項事業(yè);OCCUPATION(職業(yè))指的則是規(guī)律性地,但如小和尚有口無心撞鐘般地從事某件事而已. 是故, 有一個職業(yè),僅僅是象模象樣地占據(jù)(occupy)了一席之地,至于是否有發(fā)自內(nèi)心的喜愛與敬畏則要另當別論了.
2. 占領(lǐng):這樣一種使用武力進入它國領(lǐng)土的行動包含了進攻(attack),占領(lǐng)(occupy),破壞(damage)等意義,但這些意義卻與行動本身的道德色彩無關(guān). 它可以是正義的,也可以是非正義,不過,在中文里,正義的侵略是另一個詞--討伐.
